OVER 1,600 ARTVENTIVE EOS™ PLUGS USED TO DATE WITH 100% SUCCESS
Immediate, Complete, and Permanent occlusion, only with the EOS™ Plug.
Simple & fast:
“EOS™ vascular plugs are safe and effective. In the present series target vessel occlusion has been quick and durable, allegedly faster than using other devices. Thrombosis induced with coils is generally not immediate and a large number of devices may be required to achieve complete obliteration. Appropriate vessel sizing is mandatory. Minimal plug related artefacts allow diagnostic accuracy at follow-up imaging (CT/MRI).”
“A total of 17 EOS™ plugs were safely and reliably deployed in 2 patients with complex AVMs with multiple arterial feeders, resulting in each instance in immediate occlusion without distal migration.”
“Embolization with commonly used materials, such as coils or particles, generally fails to offer immediate occlusion and can necessitate a large number of devices, resulting in prolonged procedures with high radiation exposure and financial burden.”
The use of ArtVentive EOS™ for occlusion of the ovarian veins in PCS patients is safe and effective. All the occlusion devices were implanted as planned with good deployment control and possible correction of its initial position. During the 6-month observation, reduction of pelvic pain after ovarian veins embolization was substantial—from 7.27 to 1.64 according to VAS.”
“We successfully applied the ArtVentive EOS™ in various vessel trajectories. The main features of the device are its ability to immediately and reliably occlude the target vessels. These features might potentially save operation time, number of devices used for a single procedure and therefore reduce radiation exposure and use of contrast agent.”
